A veil turns a gorgeous wedding dress into a stunning regal gown. Lots of brides have said that the enormity of their wedding did not sink in until they donned their veil. Your wedding may be your only opportunity to pull out all the stops and dress like a queen, and your wedding veil style will be your crowning glory on your special day. Before you pick out a dress and matching veil, ask yourself if a veil is an appropriate accessory for your wedding. For the brides who want to follow proper tradition, there are some pointers to consider. If your wedding dress is especially ornate, perhaps decorated with hand-beading, lace, or lots of ruffles, you should not choose a fancy veil. Instead, pick one that will not become the center of focus. If you choose an antique veil, don't be tempted to spruce it up by dying it a whiter shade! You will ruin the fabric for sure.
